| FDLW is pleased to announce the introduction of GLIDETOP™ to its line of performance engineered belting, for specific application problems.
The Glidetop™ has a low co-efficient of friction cover as well as a special rubber formulation to provide that extra control needed for “pick modules” in the handling and controlling of heavy and oversized boxes.
In addition to the pick module application, in distribution centers, Glidetop™ is also the belt to use in:
- Transfer conveyors for heavy consumer electronics, appliances, and other heavily boxed items
- Slider bed applications
- Slip-top applications
- Diverting belts
- Accumulation belts
The Glidetop™ utilizes either a 2 ply 160lb or a 3 ply 240 lb polyester carcass which allows for small pulleys and high strength with low stretch.
The top cover along with the low co-efficient of friction is also oil and chemical resistant. The bare bottom cover lowers horsepower requirements, improves energy efficiency, and generates less heat.
