Fenner Dunlop Americas Restructures to Accommodate Growth
April 28, 2009, Scottdale, GA –- Fenner Dunlop Americas recently announced several management changes that were made to recognize the changing needs of its customers and to maximize the opportunities from significant investments in its North American operations.
Ms. Cassandra Pan has been appointed President of Fenner Dunlop Americas to oversee its Belting Operations in the Americas. Before moving into her new role, Ms. Pan was the Managing Director of Fenner PLC’s Hose, Seals and Conveyor Belt Operations in Shanghai, China for over 10 years. She previously lived in the US where she obtained a BA and a MBA and later became a US citizen. Ms Pan will relocate to the US to start her position in April and will become a Non-Executive Director of the China operations.
The expertise that Ms. Pan possesses in driving manufacturing excellence will compliment Fenner Dunlop Americas’ commitment to customer service, on time deliveries and to its value proposition as the leader in conveyor belt manufacturing, sales and service.
Mr. David Hurd, former President of Fenner Dunlop Americas, has accepted the position of Divisional Director, International Strategic Sales for Fenner Dunlop Worldwide. In this role Mr. Hurd will develop sales and act on market opportunities for wide belt and steel cord belt worldwide with particular emphasis on the Latin American and European markets. Fenner Dunlop Americas and Fenner Dunlop Australia have invested over $200 million in its manufacturing operations to now manufacture some of the widest, most advanced steel cord and wide rubber belt in the world. With Hurd’s extensive industry experience, he will also take on the role of President of Classic Conveyor Components, part of Fenner Dunlop’s new Service Division, to grow its domestic and export businesses. |
